Notice – Public Meeting: Establishing a Special Rating Area (SRA) – Montague Gardens and Marconi Beam
NOTICE: ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL RATING AREA (SRA) FOR MONTAGUE GARDENS AND MARCONI BEAM
Notice is hereby given that:
- The Williams Family Trust, registered owner of Erf 2422, 35 Stella Road, Montague Gardens, intends applying to establish an SRA, to be called the Montague Gardens–Marconi Beam Improvement District (MMID) in terms of the City of Cape Town: Special Rating Area By-Law, 2012, as amended in 2016 read together with the City of Cape Town’s Special Rating Area Policy 2016. The affected area includes all non-residential-rated paying properties in the area bound by:
- Northern boundary: Stella Road to the N7 National Road (border with Montague Park development)
- Eastern boundary: The N7 National Road
- Southern boundary: Bosmansdam Road
- Western boundary: Koeberg Road.
- A public meeting will be held, the purpose of which shall be to:
- Inform all attendees of relevant information pertaining to the application, and to
- Discuss the practical implications relating thereto.

Kennisgewing geskied hiermee dat:
- Die Williams Family Trust, synde die geregistreerde eienaar van Erf 2422, geleë te 35 Stella Straat, Montague Gardens, , van voorneme is om aansoek te doen om ‘n Spesiale-aanslaggebied wat bekend sal staan as die Montague Gardens –Marconi Beam Improvement District bundel te stig ingevolge die Stad Kaapstad se Spesiale-aanslag-gebiede-verordening, 2012 soos gewysig 2016 asook met Stad Kaapstad se Spesiale-aanslag-gebiede-beleid, 2016. Die gebied sluit in alle nie-residensiele belastingbetalende eiendomme wat omsluit word deur:
- Noordelike grens: Stellastraat tot die N7 Nasionale Pad (grens met Montague Park ontwikkeling)
- Oostelike grens: Die N7 Nasionale Pad
- Suidelike grens: Bosmansdamstraat
- Westelike grens: Koebergweg
- Kennisgewing van ‘n Openbare vergadering met die doel om:
- Tersaaklike inligting rakende die aansoek te verskaf.
- Praktiese implikasies te bespreek wat daarmee verband hou.
